SYNOPSIS

What is Jesus looking for in His people? What does it look like for a mature Bride to make herself ready for Jesus’ return? How can we become an overcoming Church?

Revelation chapters 2 and 3 give us one of the clearest and most complete pictures of what Jesus wants and what Jesus is looking for in His Church. Through the 7 letters, Jesus reveals 7 specific areas of spiritual maturity that He wants the Church to cultivate so that we can become an overcoming Church and the mature Bride. The two chapters also contain one message with 7 specific Prophetic Messages that instruct the Church on how to be prepared as overcomers to partner with Jesus at His Second Coming.

Jesus exhorts us at the end of each letter saying, “He who has an ear, let Him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church”. If we are wise, we must take heed, give these letters the utmost attention and respond in accordance to the words of Jesus in Revelation 2 and 3.

Join us for four Sundays in 2019 for this Forerunner School Intensive. Besides teachings, there will also be small group discussions and Q&A times to spur one another on to understand God’s heart through these seven letters and apply them to our lives.

ENCOUNTERING THE PERSON
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Dates: 19, 26 May & 2, 9 June 2019
Day and Time: Sundays, 3pm – 6pm
Speaker: Kay-Chong Yeo

SYNOPSIS
Who is the Holy Spirit? What are the primary works of the Holy Spirit? Why did Jesus say in John 16:7 that it is better for Jesus Himself to leave us so that a Helper can come?

Traditionally, we focus on the power of the Holy Spirit instead of walking with the Holy Spirit. However, the Holy Spirit is more than power to be harnessed, but is a Person to be followed and our LORD God to be submitted to. The Holy Spirit was given to us for more than anointed and effective ministry; He was given to reside in us, to lead us and to transform us to become more like Jesus.

John 14 – 16 and Galatians 5:16 – 6:8 are probably the best teachings by Jesus and Apostle Paul on who the Holy Spirit is and how to walk with Him. These teachings give us vital keys on how to cultivate a living and vibrant relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Join us for four Sundays in 2019 for this Forerunner School Intensive. Besides teachings, there will also be small group discussions and Q&A times to spur one another on to understand the Person of the Holy Spirit and how to walk with Him.
