We are living in a crucial and strategic time where the only certainty is uncertainty. We are really living in the End Times!  One of the most vital needs for all of us today is to understand the times and know what to do.  We need to ask God for the spirit of the “sons of Issachar” (1 Chron. 12:32) so that we can interpret what God is saying and doing in these hours and to respond in accordance to the heart and will of God.

 

In Joel 1:2, prophet Joel emphasized the unprecedented magnitude of what was happening in their day. It is a relevant message for us as God is shaking the nations in an unprecedented magnitude! Joel is asking in essence, “Have you seen anything like this?  Is this normal?” All that has happened in the last 12 months are truly unprecedented and it will get more intense in the days ahead!

Joel 2:12 – 17 is probably the clearest passage in the Word of God that describes how God wants the Church of Jesus to respond in times of crisis, both on a local and global scale. It is a clear “requirement” for the Body of Christ as the global drama unfolds at the End of the Age.  We know that God’s primary call to His people in crisis is to gather in solemn assemblies – corporate intercession and worship.  See here for a write-up on “How do we respond in crisis.”

In other words, gathering in corporate intercessory worship as a Body of Christ is what we need most in this hour of history.  It is NOT an option. (Joel 2:15 - 17)

Therefore, as a House of Prayer in Singapore, we invite you to join us in gathering as one in sacred assembly - praying and seeking the face of God in our Harp & Bowl Apostolic Intercessory Worship sessions this month at Harvest Care Center, 165 Sims Avenue, Level 6 (#06-03)!
