Matt. 24 - 25 is one of the most important passages of Scriptures regarding End-Times. Matt. 24:1 – 35 gives us detailed information of the signs of the End of the Age and Jesus’ 2nd Coming. Matt. 24:36 – 25:46 exhorts us WHAT to watch and HOW to prepare ourselves.
The Parable of the Ten Virgins is about waiting for the Return of the Bridegroom. It is written in the context of End-Times and gives us a prophetic picture of End-Time ministry with the revelation of Jesus as the Bridegroom God. Knowing the Jewish wedding custom will grant us a better understanding of this parable.
Jesus’ advice in light of the End-Time revival was to watch, developing a heart- connect with the Spirit and Jesus the Bridegroom God (Matt. 25:1, 6, 10, 13).
