FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q1) What is the "School of Forerunner Ministry I" about?

A1) This School introduces believers to core topics that they will need to know if they want to be prepared as forerunners, rising up to be the Voice God in such a time as this, wherever God has placed them - church, workplace, community.

Q2) When and Where will the School be held?

A2)

No.of sessions:       10-session course Day:

See table below for details.

Q3) Must I attend all the sessions?

A3) Yes. We started the course after "The Great Need of This Hour" Seminar held in January, as many were impacted and would like to know how they could respond to be a forerunner. Thus this course is set to equip believers to have a better understanding of what a Forerunner is and how they can arise to be one. In light with this, core topics were chosen; these are non-negotiable for the purpose of the course. Thus an insistence on a commitment to attend all the sessions.

Q5) Why are these topics chosen? Also, will there be a School of Forerunners' Ministry II and III and so on?

A5) These topics are fundamental for those who want to know how to be prepared as forerunners. As these are the foundational topics, it is necessary to attend all the sessions to get the holistic picture to be the Voice of God. Moving forward, those who attended this run can also sign-up for School of Forerunners' Ministry II and III and so on. We will update you on the information of these classes in due time.

Q6) How will the session be conducted? Will there be homework to do after the sessions?

A6) As part of each 3 hour session, we will have 45 min where we will have small group discussions or a time for Q & A. There is no homework per se, but we strongly encourage everyone to seek out God's word like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, and make time to read God's word and use the notes given out to guide you. In the course of your own study, do note down any parts you may not understand and you can raise these questions at the sessions.

Q7) What are the fees like?

A7) There are no fees for this course. Instead, we will collect a love offering at the sessions.

Q8) Will there be notes given out during the session?

A8) Yes, notes will be given out during the session. We strongly encourage all to use the notes to study and meditate on what was taught even after the session. It takes time to internalize the message through praying, fasting, reading of God's word, prayer and loving meditation.

Q9) Are there any pre-requisite / criteria needed to sign up for this course?

A9) This course is open to anyone who is interested to learn how to be prepared as a forerunner. We expect those who sign-up to be committed to come for all the sessions in this run (i.e. Mar to Jul/Aug).

Q10) Are the sessions modular? i.e. if I miss any session, I can make it up at the next run of the School?

A10) At this moment, there is only one run of this course for forerunners this year. Future runs are not in the pipeline yet, as we will need a minimum number of people to start a class.

Q11) I'm currently actively involved in my church activities on Sundays and can't come for the sessions, how can I participate in this course?

A11) We can introduce you the teaching resources (notes and voice recordings) to purchase to study at your own time. You are also welcome to email any questions to us at info@onethingministries.net .

Here is the recommend list of teaching materials to be equipped on how to be prepared as Forerunners. In the School of Forerunners' Ministry I, we will be covering key sessions from these book titles.

S/N Book Titles Teaching Resources
1. The Ministry of Forerunners Book + CD = $8
2. House of Prayer in the spirit of Tabernacle of David Book + CD = $20
3. Intimacy with God Book + CD = $20
4. Bride of Christ Book + CD = $15
5. End-Times Book + CD = $25
6. Understanding Israel Book + CD = $20

Q12) If I can gather a group of believers (say 10-15) keen to go through this course at a separate timing down the road, will you open a class for us?

A12) We are open to work something out. Send us an email at info@onethingministries.net  and we will get in touch with you.

Q13) Are there any commitment to be involved in the House of Prayer after attending this class?

A13) Our heart is to equip believers in this message and be a Voice wherever God has placed them - church, workplace, community. Thus, there is no commitment to be involved in the House of Prayer after attending the class. However, if you would like to play a part in building the House of Prayer, we welcome you to approach any of the leaders and talk to us more.

Q14) Does this class replace the current quarterly Forerunners School held on Saturday and also the Weekly Friday Teachings?

A14) There are 3 types of teachings in the House of Prayer:

(1) Weekly Friday Teachings (7.30pm to 9.30pm) - this is a continuous teaching on a particular series. For instance, we are covering the Book of Revelation in this season.

(2) Quarterly Forerunners School (Saturday, 2.30pm-6.30pm) - this is a once-off teaching on a particular topic that God places on our heart and is speaking to the body of Christ. For instance, we just held a Seminar on 29 Jan on the Great Need of this Hour to trumpet what God is doing now and His call to raise up people who know the times and be His voice.

(3) School of Forerunners' Ministry I (Fortnightly on Sundays, 3pm-6pm from Mar to Jul/Aug) - this is the latest course offering and it contains the fundamental topics for those who want to be equipped to be forerunners. All teachings are open to the public. As we print notes for (2) and (3), we request you to register with us by sending an email to info@onethingministries.net
