Our Story

In September 2003, a handful of us, led by Kay-Chong Yeo, came together in answer to God’s call to establish a House of Prayer in the spirit of the Tabernacle of David in Singapore. What started as fortnightly gatherings has grown, by His grace, to where we are today.

Today, we have over 30 people who are committed to build the House of Prayer at IHOP – One Thing Ministries and there are sessions at the House of Prayer every day of the week. We are trusting God for the increase and that there will be a 24/7 House of Prayer in our land in the near future!

Leviticus 6:13 says that “the fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.” Thus, we press on to be faithful to God’s mandate for us to keep the fire on this altar burning, so that it may never go out!
