THE CALL 2014 – PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD

I thank God for this message. Three things have stirred my heart about this conference. One is to be reminded that our one and life long obsession should be to know who Jesus is, His thoughts, His heart and His plans. Second is to go back to the First Commandment. I come back to what my purpose is in this life. And third, is to knw how to live this life in preparation for Jesus’ return and the age to come.

- Raymood Looi, Aldersgate Methodist Church

We benefited a lot in understanding how to prepare ourselves for the Lord’s return. Before this conference, I don’t really care if I know much about the Book of Revelation. But now I know that the book is about knowing Jesus more. There’s now a deeper desire to want to know Him more and live more “dangerously” with the Lord.

My children attended the children’s track and also participated in the times of worship in the main session. I can see that they enjoyed themselves very much, even in worship. After the first session, they asked me, “Are we coming again tomorrow?” It was very encouraging as worship is very important to us.

- Ying Hwee and Yvonne, Hope Church

Attending this conference has stirred my heart to get back to my First Love. I’ve been distracted by my career… I need to realign my priorities! I’m refreshed and happy!

- Lea, Church of our Saviour

What impacted me is what Dwayne shared about having a biblical worldview as that will really shift the way we live our lives and how we plan. That is the key thing that threaded all the things I’ve been asking and praying about before the conference. All my questions were answered!

- Jovin Lim, Hope Church

As I wasn’t able to apply leave, I could only attend part of the conference. Amazingly even through such a short time, I felt drawn to a deeper relationship with the Lord. God also impressed deeper upon my heart in the area of intercession. Thank you and keep up the good work!

- Pastor Samuel Heng, New Horizon Church

I came to the conference wanting to know what God wants me to do in this age and time. Through the teachings, God reminded me that all He wants is our heart – a heart like Mary of Bethany and John the Apostle who knows what is on His mind and His heart. It’s just as simple as that and it was a revelation to me! I will press in to wait for Him in His presence to know Him better.

- Faith Lim, Acts Baptist Church

We had a good experience at this conference. The worship was spontaneous and I felt uplifted. Through the teachings, we had a change in mindset about the revelation of God, what happens when Jesus returns and and what is beyond this age. Now we know what we do now will affect us in the next age. We are also awakened to the urgency about the coming of the Lord and preparing ourselves as the ready Bride. I am stirred to dwell more in His Words and know who He is.

It was the first time our daughter Eunice attended a long conference with us. She was in the children’s track and enjoyed herself. Getting kids to understand the coming of Jesus and the urgency of it is something new to us. I was particularly struck by Parable of the Ten virgins – being wise and not foolish and preparing to be the Bride of Christ. My daughter could understand and learnt much from Teacher Ann at the children’s track. I will make time to reflect about this and have a heart-searching time, seeing that my kids need to understand. Even though my daughter may be young, we want to be alert parents to guide her. Everyone needs to be ready.

THE CALL 2013 – WHO IS JESUS?

The message of Jesus as the Bridegroom, King and Judge really struck me as I always see this as three persons, but the way the speaker brought it across was that it was one person in 3 aspects. That is very enlightening and impactful. It was really helpful in knowing who Jesus is and has helped me see Jesus in a more personal way.

During the worship, the gospels have become more alive to me and Jesus becomes real and near to me like flesh and blood. The Psalm 23 message impacted me.

- Stacey Chu, Faith Community Baptist Church

What striked my heart during the conference was this – PRAY, PRAISE, MEDITATE, READ, STUDY etc. … every moment, you will be delivered… transformed…

- Tan Kwee Chye

One thing that is very key that has hit me is who Jesus is, which I feel is one of the main foundation in Christian life. During the conference, it was a reminder for me to have an intimate relationship with God.

Worship time was good because it gave me a lot of time to reflect on my own relationship with God. It was time given where I could quieten down and just communicate with the Lord. The thing that strike me most about prayer is that it does not have to be only in the form of speech but it can also be sung back to the Lord.

- Adam Lee, ACTS Baptist Church

I have been impacted by the Harp and Bowl model of worship. This is the first time I have encountered worship incorporated with prayer. During the invitation to experience God’s love and a return to the first and great commandment, I felt the fire of God with me. I can feel God’s presence with me in this place and I feel that God is going to do a greater work especially among the youth and the next generation.
